Betty Kaufmann Pruitt

Betty Kaufmann Pruitt passed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on December 1, 2012. Betty was born in Savannah, GA on September 26, 1924 and lived there until she moved to Tampa Fl to live with her daughter Rebecca and her niece Phyllis Pruitt.

Betty was a loving mother, sister, aunt and friend, always caring and eager to help. She retired after many years from Kennickell Printing Company, and worked in retirement at Taylor's Restaurant.

She is predeceased by her beloved brother and sister, Ralph Kaufmann and Harriett Von Waldner Moyer. She is survived by her daughter Rebecca of Tampa, her sister and best friend, Irma Dixon of Savannah, treasured brother, Tony Kaufmann of Helotes Texas and many dear nieces and nephews. Betty dearly loved her family.

Visitation will be at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel, on Thursday, Dec. 6 from 5-7 pm.
Funeral services will be at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel, on Friday Dec 7 at 11:00 am.
Burial will follow in Bonaventure Cemetery.
